Mahallemizin çocuklarından etkinlik

Gümüşlük ve Dereköy'deki okulların öğrencileri, “Doğa Dönüşüyor” etkinliğinde çevre temizliği yaptı. Dereköy Ahmet Zeki Büyükkuşoğlu İlkokulu ile Gümüşlük Kemal Durmaz İlkokulu ve Ortaokulu yürüttükleri “Doğa Dönüşüyor” eTwinning projesi kapsamında, Bodrum Belediyesi Temizlik İşleri Müdürlüğü ekipleriyle birlikte Turgutreis sahilde çevre temizliği gerçekleştirdi.

Etkinlik çerçevesinde öğrenciler Turgutreis sahilinin temizliğini üstlenerek örnek bir davranış sergilediler. Kıyı şeridindeki çöpleri tek tek poşetlere toplayan minik öğrenciler büyüklerini, çevreye karşı daha duyarlı olmaya davet ettiler. Öğrencilerin, doğanın korunması için duyarlılığın arttırılması ve farkındalık oluşturmak amacıyla düzenlenen etkinlik sonrası, Bodrum Belediyesi Temizlik İşleri Müdürlüğü yetkilileri tarafından, öğrencilere çevre temizliğinin ve geri dönüşümün önemi anlatıldı.

Belediye görevlileri; bilinçsizce atılan her çöpün kıyılarımızı, denizlerimizi kirlettiği ve geleceğimize zarar verdiğini belirterek, neredeyse her köşe başında bulunan konteynırlara atıkların ayrıştırılarak atılması ve ekonomiye kazandırılmasının artık bir gereklilik olduğunun altını çizdiler.

Öğrenciler ve temizlik görevlileri tarafından toplanan atıklar, ayrıştırma işlemlerinin ardından geri dönüşüm için Bodrum Belediyesi 1. Sınıf Atık Getirme Merkezi’ne nakledildi.

Activity from the children of our neighborhood

The students of the schools in Gümüşlük and Dereköy cleaned the environment at the “Nature is Transforming” event.

Dereköy Ahmet Zeki Büyükkuşoğlu Primary School and Gümüşlük Kemal Durmaz Primary and Secondary School carried out environmental cleaning on the beach with Turgutreis, within the scope of the “Nature Transforms” eTwinning project, together with the teams of the Bodrum Municipality Cleaning Affairs Directorate.

Within the framework of the event, the students exhibited an exemplary behavior by undertaking the cleaning of the Turgutreis beach. The little students, who collect the garbage on the coastline one by one, invited their elders to be more sensitive to the environment. After the event, which was organized in order to raise awareness and increase the sensitivity of the students for the protection of nature, the Bodrum Municipality Cleaning Affairs Directorate officials explained the importance of environmental cleaning and recycling to the students.

Municipal officials; Stating that every rubbish thrown unconsciously pollutes our coasts and seas and harms our future, they underlined that it is now a necessity to separate the wastes into the containers located at almost every corner and bring them into the economy.

Waste collected by students and cleaning staff was transferred to Bodrum Municipality 1st Class Waste Retrieval Center for recycling after sorting.
